Hi, there has been a squeaking, knocking sound that feels and sounds like it's under the footwell on the driver's side which is gradually getting worse.
Garage said last week it was CV boot; when fitting, it said it was loose, so it needed another part.
Today they still havent resolved it, now saying possibly drive shaft
When driving it sounds like something is loose; they cant see anything obvious and not sure what it is so looking for suggestions, please.
An expensive job for a trial-and-error situation as they dont really know what it is I dont want top be in
