Hyundai Palisade back up system failure

Has anyone had an issue with no back up warnings on their palisade? I have a 2026 and when I was backing up in darkness, there was no beeping sound nor did the automatic breaking system come on (which I have in the 2026 Calligraphy model). When I was at the body shop to look at the repairs, the employee moved my vehicle and needed to back up in a space to park it. The back up camera and beeping went on, along with the automatic brake when there was still room. He was very surprised non of these went off when I was backing up. I contacted my sales person to see if there have been notifications of this happening with the 2026 hybrid palisade. He had nothing for me. We also had an issue just like this with a rental palisade 2 years ago. Looking for any thoughts on this issue. Thanks!
