Brake lights stay on the whole time.

Hello,

I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata that the brake lights stay on all the time. When you pushing the brakes nothing happens. Also the rear driver side brake light and the third eye brake light stay on at all times even without the car running or the key in it. I replaced both bulbs but it did the same thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

if you already checked for a bad ground... the next thing I would check is if wehen you put your foot under the brake pedal and pull towards you if tyhey stop lighting off. This would indicate a weak return spring or possible a sensor misalignment
